ART NIGHT VENEZIA:JUNE 21, 2025

PROGRAMMING:

• THE CALL: Talking Drum Performer - Senegalese Drummer, Moulaye Niang

• THE RESPONSE: Morgan State University Marching Band (Drumline) directed
by Prof. Jorim Reid (Band Director)

• THE MARCH: Moulaye Niang (Senegalese drummer) and the Marching Band
march down Via Garibaldi towards the pavilion.
Performance at the pavilion

• SPOKEN WORD AND FLASH MOB: The Space Makers, performs a flash mob
spoken word with Venice residence assisting

• POURING OF LIBATION: Kojo Yankah or his representative

• Prof. Pashington Obeng, Chief from Ghana: pours libations to the ancestors
of the African and African Diaspora

• Moulaye’s band, Peace Diuof: perform as well as DJ and food event
afterwards
